Add Agent
In LimeChat, you can add multiple users to your dashboard and assign them specific roles.
This will allow the Account Owner to adjust access to the LimeChat features and the actions they can take within the dashboard.
Roles for an Agent:
Access to LimeChat's features are based on following roles:
Agent
Agents with this role only have access to conversations in assigned inboxes. They can assign conversations to other agents or themselves and resolve conversations.
Administrator
The administrator have access to all the LimeChat features enabled for your account like settings, billing, analytics, along with all of a normal agents' privileges.
Supervisor
Agents with this role have access to the same features as an Agent + the Analytics part in the dashboard.
How to add agents?
- Login to your Limechat Dashboard.
- Go to Settings > Agents.
- Then click on Add an agent on the top right corner.
- In the popup window, fill in the necessary details.
- Add Agent Name.
- Add the Inbox you want the Agent to be part of. You can assign inboxes now or later from here.
- Assign Role from the dropdown. Role specifics are defined at the starting of the article
- Add the Email Address where they will receive credentials to login onto the dashboard.
- Click on Add Agent and the agent will be added successfully.
